About us

Structo was founded in 1948 and is based in Bruges. The company was taken over by the Willy Naessens Group at the end of 2016. Structo’s activities are focused on the production of prestressed prefab concrete: channel plates, prestressed beams and columns. These are mainly used in industrial, utility and housing construction.

In addition, Structo has extensive experience and a solid reputation in the production of prestressed bridge overlays for civil engineering projects.

Climate policy

As a company, Structo is aware of the challenges posed by climate change and wants to do its part to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. Structo contributes to the build group's goal of reducing its CO2-emissions with 2.5 % per year.

  • Measurement: Structo will regularly measure and track GHG emissions to determine how much GHG they emit and where these emissions occur.
  • Reporting: Structo will report GHG emissions annually and make this information publicly available so that stakeholders are aware of our efforts to reduce GHG emissions.
  • Reduction: Structo will set targets to reduce GHG emissions and will take measures to achieve these targets. This can be done, for example, by introducing energy-efficient technologies, reducing the use of fossil fuels and investing in renewable energy sources.
  • Monitoring: Structo will regularly monitor and adjust its efforts to reduce GHG emissions if necessary to ensure that it achieves these targets.

Structo believes that adhering to this policy will help reduce our carbon footprint and preserve a sustainable future for us all.
